This is how to create a rule
With rules, you can tell the system how a purchase should be categorised based on your chosen criteria. The next time the system recognises this criterion, it will apply the same categorisation and so you can save time processing data in the long run.
This is how you do it
Press ‘CO2’ and then ‘Rules’
Press ‘Create’
Choose a trigger
What do you want your rule to activate? Account name, account number, purchase name, etc.
Enter what your trigger should contain, this could be Circle K or Banana, for example.
Combine with multiple criteria by choosing ‘And’, “Or” or ‘Except’
Optionally, choose a period when you want the rule to be active.
Press ‘Next’
If you do not want Verarca to calculate a carbon footprint, tick the ‘Ignore’ box.
Choose what to do with the purchase.
Press ‘Next’
Choose whether you want the promotion to be applied to all purchases, or only to those not yet verified.
Close by pressing ‘Apply’.
