I am worried that I will get fined for greenwashing – are your calculations completely accurate?

Verarca uses emission data from the internationally standardized GHG protocol, and all purchases and related CO2 calculations are given a unique trackable ID. That ID ensures that it is always possible to find the documentation for the calculation that our AI has made. That is your guarantee that you can trust the numbers you see in your dashboards or utilize in your climate report – and that you can prove it.

Can you pull a complete climate report out of Verarca?

No, you cannot pull a whole and complete climate report out of Verarca. A climate report or ESG report contains – besides numbers for the company – also longer paragraphs of texts regarding environmental initiatives, action areas, employee conditions and a lot of other things. With Verarca, however, you don’t need to worry about digging up the precise numbers that you need for the report. You already have those easily available in the dashboard.

Our electricity supplier actually states their CO2 emission on the invoice. Can Verarca get this data into the system automatically?

Yes. Verarca has been developed in a way so that it can read data even though it is text in a PDF invoice. As long as the data is stated somewhere as CO2 footprint or a similar designation, our AI can enter this data into the system along with the rest of the information. You get the absolute most accurate CO2 footprint, and you don’t even need to enter it manually.

Can Verarca calculate CO2, when we enter consumption of electricity or fuel ourselves?

Yes, without problems. You just have to enter the purchase that you would like to put in the system, and then Verarca makes sure to gather data from the emissions database so that it can calculate the CO2 footprint. This is the same procedure as if the information about the purchase came from your accounting software or was imported from an invoice.
